Come join our writing group! All writers are welcome to participate in this casual, inclusive meeting.

Come add your voice to the Millcreek Community Writing Group!

Calling all storytellers, scribblers, plot-twisters, and occasional notebook-hoarders.

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 7 to 8:30 PM in the Millcreek Library Storytime Room to write, chat, and share ideas. Bring a piece of your own to read if you’d like, or keep it tucked safely away in your notebook.

We’re a welcoming community of writers who love storytelling in all its forms. Whether you’re drafting your first page, polishing a finished piece, or simply curious about writing, writers of every genre, style, and experience level are invited to join us. This is an inclusive, supportive space where everyone is encouraged to participate at their own comfort level.

Our meetings are usually divided into three parts: sharing and constructive critique, open discussion (about writing, books, creativity, or whatever sparks conversation), and writing time with optional prompts and sharing if time allows.

You do not need to have something written to attend, and sharing your work is always optional. Come write with us and enjoy the company of fellow creative people.

Whether you’re crafting your first sentence or your fiftieth draft, there’s a place for you here.
