Sandy Large Meeting Room (Capacity 80)Tai Chi is a graceful mind-body practice that uses gentle movements and deep breathing to improve balance, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being.
Tai Chi has a long and rich history rooted in ancient Chinese philosophy. Its principles are deeply influenced by the concept of Yin and Yang, which represents balance and harmony between opposing forces. Tai Chi emphasizes using softness to overcome hardness, yielding rather than resisting. Instead of relying on force or rigidity, it encourages moving in harmony with nature and adapting to changing circumstances with grace and flexibility.
This class will be led by Li Tao(李涛), President of the Utah Tai Chi Association. The Utah Tai Chi Association is dedicated to fostering awareness, appreciation, and participation in Tai Chi, helping people of all ages achieve better health, greater vitality, and improved quality of life.
