Come join our book group for a discussion of "The Secret Book Society" by Madeline Martin Loved the book? Hated the book? Couldn't finish it? Come join us anyway! Newcomers are always welcome!

In Victorian London, three women trapped by unhappy marriages and rigid social expectations are drawn into a secret book club hosted by the enigmatic Lady Duxbury. As they form friendships and find a rare space to speak openly, they begin uncovering secrets about their marriages, their families, and the women who brought them together. Set in 1895, the novel combines historical fiction, friendship, and mystery while exploring women's independence and the possibilities that open when women create a world of their own.

This is hybrid meeting, we will be meeting in person, but there is an option to join us virtually if you would like. Email mccref@slcolibrary.org for information.
