Come meet our April artist, Jen Gilson, at a reception in her honor Thursday, April 24, from 7-7:45.

Please join us at a Meet & Greet reception with our April artist, Jen Gilson, on Thursday, April 24, from 7-7:45 pm.

"My artistic journey began early, with crayons and paints helping me express myself through color and form. Art became a refuge during personal challenges, especially in my late twenties when infertility took an emotional toll. Painting allowed me to process grief and find emotional release. Today, my work continues to reflect this journey, capturing life’s emotional intensity through landscapes, still lifes, florals, and the playfullness of children. I aim to create art that connects with viewers, making my personal experiences both relatable and accessible."

This exhibit will be on display at the Millcreek Branch throughout April

Gary Henderson will provide musical accompaniment on the Native American flute and light refreshments will be provided.
