Come join our book group for a discussion of "Black Cake" by Charmaine Wilkerson Loved the book? Hated the book? Couldn't finish it? Come join us anyway! Newcomers are always welcome!

Black Cake follows two estranged siblings whose mother's final message reveals long-buried family secrets stretching from the Caribbean to America. Through contemporary literary fiction, Charmaine Wilkerson explores family, identity, belonging, and the ways the past continues to shape each new generation.

This is hybrid meeting, we will be meeting in person, but there is an option to join us virtually if you would like. Email mccref@slcolibrary.org for information.
