Learn something exciting or pick up a new hobby at these weekly classes covering a wide range of topics. Classes are perfect for beginners and taught by experienced, passionate instructors.

Discover the rhythm, geometry, and expressive storytelling of South Indian classical dance of Bharatanatyam!

This class will feature:

A short verbal introduction to the genre.

A demo of two short pieces that illustrate the pure and narrative techniques.

A workshop where the participants will engage first-hand with footwork based technique and story-telling through movement.

No experience required. This class is intended for adults. Visit the Nitya Nritya Foundation for more information about the instructors.
