Are you an aspiring writer? Intimidated by the publishing process? Then this free, mini writers conference may be for you! The conference will be held at the Magna library and hosted by our very own, local author, Mary Martinez. Get the chance to hear from other authors' experience about how to get your book published -- from start to finish. Be sure to come ready with questions!
Here is the lineup for the afternoon--
1pm: Panel Discussion -- New (unpublished) Authors -- Personal experience/history and then Q & A opportunity.
2pm: Editing -- Self Editing -- Stanalei Fletcher -- You've finished your story, now what?
3 pm: Publishing -- Mary Martinez -- Learn the differences between indie and traditional publishing; and get the tools to get it done.
This workshop is open to all serious writers ages 11 & Up. Please come prepared to stay for the entire conference. Light snacks/breaks provided. Registration preferred.
