The Chinese Lunar New Year of 2025, marking the Year of the Snake, begins on January 29. Celebrated globally, this holiday emphasizes unity, prosperity, and good fortune. Preparations include cleaning homes to remove bad luck and decorating with red couplets, lanterns, and paper cutouts. On New Year's Eve, families enjoy a reunion dinner with symbolic dishes like dumplings and fish. Firecrackers, dragon dances, and red envelope exchanges add to the festive atmosphere. The Year of the Snake, symbolizing wisdom and intuition, brings hope for growth, adaptability, and success.
