Dr. Ryan Reed is a distinguished lecturer at Middle Tennessee State University, with 20 years of teaching experience in medieval and fantasy Literature. His academic expertise centers on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien and J.K. Rowling, which he has taught extensively in various courses. Reed has co-led study abroad programs in London focused on the Harry Potter series, blending his passion for literature with immersive learning experiences. A proud alumnus of MTSU, where he earned his doctorate, Reed brings a deep knowledge of literature and a dynamic teaching style to his lectures, offering fresh perspectives on some of the most beloved works in the fantasy genre.
