Dr. Hao, an associate professor of Chinese studies at the College of the Holy Cross, researches Chinese poetry, fantastic literature, and translation studies. He has published a book on the eighth-century Chinese poet Du Fu (The Reception of Du Fu in Imperial China, Brill, 2017) and several articles on Journey to the West.
