Writing is difficult. Publishing is difficult. Local author Steve Capone, Jr. will discuss one way it has worked and some guidelines to help us maintain our sanity; our happiness; and reach our goals.
The road to publishing is not a straight one, nor is it smooth. Oh, and there's no road. Rather, the path you're on is more of a rough-hewn trail that requires orienteering and bushwhacking, and goblins are leaping from the hidden crannies of the mountainside (also, you're climbing a mountain) yelling at you to stop what you're doing, to play some video games or get that spring cleaning done or connect with your loved ones... and also there's no peak, really, but a series of them.
Okay, let's drop the metaphor. Writing is difficult. Publishing is difficult. Whether you're a writer working for yourself or are hoping to publish a novel, Steve Capone, Jr. will help you understand one way it has worked and suggest some guidelines for writers. To help us maintain our sanity; our happiness; to reach our goals. Join the conversation at the Whitmore Library on June 29th 2024 at 3pm.
