Local Authors & You @ The Viridian
This year we launch the annual Local Authors & You event with a keynote from Sara Zarr who will be discussing writing and creativity. Ms. Zarr will be signing books during the reception that follows her presentation.*Tickets are free, but required. Reserve your tickets here. Books will be available for purchase from The Printed Garden onsite.We hope to see you at the non-ticketed, free event on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 1-5 PM where we will have over 70 local authors providing writing workshops and selling their books.*Sara Zarr is the acclaimed author of six novels for young adults, plus a collaborative novel with Tara Altebrando. Her most recent work is Gem & Dixie, published by Balzer+Bray in April 2017. She’s a National Book Award finalist and two-time Utah Book Award winner. Her books have been variously named to annual best books lists of the American Library Association, Kirkus, Publisher’s Weekly, School Library Journal, the Guardian, the International Reading Association, the New York Public Library and Los Angeles Public Library, and have been translated into many languages.
