The lifestyle change program, PreventT2, is part of the National Diabetes Prevention Program. It is proven to prevent or delay type 2 diabetes.
If you have prediabetes now is the time to make preventing type 2 diabetes a priority. In partnership with the Salt Lake County Health Department and the Utah Department of Health & Human Services, the Prevent T2 program at Hunter Library can help. You will work with a trained lifestyle coach and a group of people who are also interested in better health. You will learn how to make changes that will help you live healthier, lose weight, become more physically active and reduce stress. Groups meet for 26 one-hour lessons over a 12-month period.
