A monthly class to promote and educate the general public on rocks, rock hounding, geology, and Utah’s great landscape.

A guest speaker or hands-on activity will occur with a rock/mineral theme. Guests are encouraged to bring in a rock-related item to win a Score candy bar. Every month the category changes. Sometimes, it's 'Something worked by you', 'Purchased/ gifted item' or 'Something found by you'. There will be a members Showcase, Silent Auction, rocks, friends and fun.

THIS MONTH: Jackson Smith from the DNR Geologic Information and Outreach Program will be talking about the ‘Geological Timeline of Utah’
