Going to the Dark Side - a Beginner's Guide to Astro-Landscape Photography as taught by Royce Bair

"Going to the Dark Side" is a new genre of landscape photography that involves taking photos of the starry night sky, especially the Milky Way, with landscape features in the foreground. Although this can even be done with some of the new smartphone cameras, Royce will concentrate more on using adjustable DSLR and mirrorless cameras that allow one to change lenses. Royce Bair is a popular international "nightscape" speaker that enjoys giving back to the community.

Hobby 101 is a monthly series of classes for adults to learn new hobbies. Check out the variety of classes offered at the Library's Viridian Event Center.
