Bringing together local amateur photographers to share, learn, and improve their photography skills. We'll be learning from professional photographers, as well as from each other.
Our presenter and discussion leader will be Jeri Gravlin, an experienced photographer and instructor, who is particularly interested in telling stories through imagery that inspire positive change. This ties in nicely with the Salt Lake County Libraries' March theme: "Community Cares."
The photographic assignment for our class with Jeri is to submit 3 to 5 images that, for you, demonstrate your involvement with a community, or that reveals something about a community that interests you. Any genre is fine, and you can explore 'community' in whatever way is meaningful to you personally as a photographer... .
Register here and I will email you closer to March 1st to collect your images, which I will then share with Jeri for our discussion.
