Free community concert, featuring Utah's best artists, presented the second Saturday of each month by the Library's Viridian Event Center and Excellence in the Community.

Hot House West recreates the gypsy jazz sound of Django Reinhardt and Paris dance halls and cabarets of the 1940’s and 50's.

“Hot House West is an exceptionally creative collective, taking Gypsy Swing jazz traditions and expanding them in fresh, exciting and surprising ways. There are few groups able to make jazz music that is both readily accessible and deeply sophisticated; yet Hot House West have built their home at that rarest of intersections.” Russel Schmidt, jazz pianist.

Hot House West, led by guitarist Nathan Royal, plays the gypsy swing dance tunes made famous by Django Reinhardt with the Orchestre du Hot Club de Paris. This is toe tapping, put a smile on your face, pull you to the dance floor music.
