An epic pet adoption and Summer Reading kick-off party with stories, crafts, activities, tattoos, food and fun.
Event "paw"tners: Salt Lake County Animal Services, Rescue Rovers, Save Our Local Pets Utah, Tiger Claw Tattoo and Rescue Rovers.
Donations for pets are being accepted throughout the end of the day to benefit Save Our Local Pets Utah, a "501c3 organization bridging the gap between the community and shelters and rescues across the state of Utah." Bring your gently-used blankets and towels, canned cat food, paper towels, and other pet-friendly items, or make a tax-deductible cash donation to help this awesome cause.
*Tattoos at the Smith Branch are of the temporary nature. For adults who desire permanent tattoos, these are being offered next door at Tiger Claw Tattoo, with 100% of the profits benefiting Save Our Local Pets Utah.
