Clark Planetarium and the County Library are teaming up to bring you science, virtually!
This Science Virtual activity is all about extremophile DNA. What’s an extremophile and what’s DNA, you ask?
Extremophiles are organisms that feel right at home in conditions that are impossible for most living things to survive – like boiling hot water or acid. DNA is a molecule that contains the biological instructions for all living organisms. In this fun activity you will create a DNA bracelet that shows the biological instructions to make an extremophile.
Kits are free and have everything you need to complete them from the safety of your own home. Recommended ages 9-14. While supplies last. Quantities are limited.
