Our furry friends can be the best listeners. Connect virtually with a shelter pet from Salt Lake County Animal Services and practice reading aloud. Registration required and space is limited.

For beginning readers and up. Readers will read one-on-one with a dog or cat for 10 minutes. Before and after the reading session a County Librarian will lead games, do activities, or prepare a basic craft together. Readers will be emailed a link to the session the Friday before the event. (Bring your own book. The animals featured will be adoptable. Fall in love at your own risk.)
