This is an interactive movie at Centennial Plaza featuring prompts and a small bag of props (while supplies last) for the audience to cheer or boo along.
Tonight's Starry Nights @the Plaza event features two musical performers and an outdoor movie, in addition to the food trucks. Here's the lineup:
5:30 p.m. – Food trucks arrive.
6:30 p.m. – J209 use their music to create unity through Christian acapella performances. Their music also includes pop and rock tunes. Listen to a sampling here.
7:45 p.m. – Jeff Carlsen is a saxophonist who performs instrumental cover songs across many genres, including pop, rock, soul, R&B and jazz. Jeff also plays in Utah’s top yacht rock band, “Made For Midnight."
9 p.m. – Movie Night, showing "Pirates of the Caribbean." This is an interactive movie with Taylorsville Library, featuring prompts and a small bag of props (while supplies last) for the audience to cheer or boo along.

The Starry Nights event, including the music and movie, is free so bring your friends or family for an evening out together on the plaza! Look for something happening every Friday night on the plaza through Sept. 26.
