Come sit and stitch, or gather information about how to turn your needlework skills into useful items for community members in need.
Whitmore is hosting a Needlework Ambassador to inspire you to learn to knit or crochet, or to use your current skills to create hats, gloves and scarves for those in need.
Visit between 11am and 1pm on Wednesday, November 13th and Wednesday, November 20th to sit and stitch, ask questions, gather how-to materials, or gain knowledge of how to put your needlework skills to use for our community.
Donations of new hats, gloves, and scarves will be accepted at Whitmore November 13th through December 12th. No used items, please.
All donated items will be distributed to community members through the County Library system during the winter months.
