Explore Alfred Hitchcock's legacy as the master of suspense through film clips, and learn about his extraordinary creativity and extensive influence on filmmaking history.

Alfred Hitchcock directed fifty-four films over five decades, creating classics like Rear Window, North by Northwest, and Psycho. Brian Rose will lead you to delve into his remarkable achievements and influence, not only as a director but also as a multi-media showman, and examine Hitchcock's enduring impact on 20th-century cinema as well as contemporary filmmaking. Rose is a professor emeritus at Fordham University, where he spent 38 years teaching in the Department of Communication and Media Studies. An accomplished author, he has written several books on television history and cultural programming. Rose has also conducted over a hundred Q&A sessions with leading directors, actors, and writers for prestigious organizations including the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, the Screen Actors Guild, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, and the Directors Guild of America.
