Granite Study Room F (Capacity 8)Interested in writing or already love to write? Join Utah author Steve Capone, Jr., in a once-per-month writing workshop for teens.
Build your confidence, find out where teens get published and how to work that system like a pro, and—most importantly—how to construct stories and follow through on completing them. Registration is strongly encouraged and snacks will be provided.
September 21, 2-4pm: Plotting to Write for a Collection
October 26, 2-4pm: Writing Your Story
November 16, 2-4pm: Editing for Publication
Although the series is designed to be connected and we hope to see you at all three events, there's absolutely no requirement to attend all of them. This program is designed for teens, but anyone is welcome--content from G to PG13 is culturally acceptable.
Who's Leading this Workshop?
A longtime teacher and writer, Steve is a member of the Horror Writers' Association and the League of Utah Authors. He runs RPGs at SaltCon and will be signing his books at FanX this year. You can borrow his 2024 release, Max in the Capital of Spies, from the Salt Lake County Library! Find him on TikTok @steve_capone_jr_author.
